APPSC Group 1 Exam Stages

There are three stages in APPSC Group 1 exam which are as follows:-

Stage 1: APPSC Group 1 Prelims (Screening) Test

The screening exam will be conducted in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The APPSC Group 1 admit card will be issued at least seven days before the examination. Kindly note that the score of the APPSC Group 1 Prelims exam will not be considered in the final merit list. This score will only be considered for appearing in the second round of the examination.

Stage 2: APPSC Group 1 Main Exam

This is a traditional exam that will be administered in a paper-and-pencil format.

For the purpose of producing the merit list, the Main exam score will be used.

Aspirants will be required to respond to seven traditional essay-style questions. 

Stage 3: APPSC Group 1 Interview

This is the final round of the exam, which will be conducted at the commission’s office in Vijaywada. To appear for the exam, the aspirants have to submit the original documents and these are:

APPSC Group 1 Cutoff Details
