The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducts the APPSC Group 1 exam. APPSC Group 1 Exam Stages

There are three stages in APPSC Group 1 exam which are as follows:-

Stage 1: APPSC Group 1 Prelims (Screening) Test

The screening exam will be conducted in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The APPSC Group 1 admit card will be issued at least seven days before the examination. Kindly note that the score of the APPSC Group 1 Prelims exam will not be considered in the final merit list. This score will only be considered for appearing in the second round of the examination.

Stage 2: APPSC Group 1 Main Exam

This is a traditional exam that will be administered in a paper-and-pencil format.

For the purpose of producing the merit list, the Main exam score will be used.

Aspirants will be required to respond to seven traditional essay-style questions. 

Stage 3: APPSC Group 1 Interview

This is the final round of the exam, which will be conducted at the commission’s office in Vijaywada. To appear for the exam, the aspirants have to submit the original documents and these are:

• Date of Birth
• Educational Qualification
• Age relaxation claimed the certificate
• Category certificates issued by the competent authority
• Professional Experience certificate

APPSC Group 1 Cutoff Details

APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) will publish the results of the Group 1 and Group 2 Examinations conducted by the state government of Andhra Pradesh on its official website, www.psc.ap.gov.in. Candidates can readily check their results by going to the official website.

The APPSC Group 1 and Group 2 cut-offs will be announced in three stages: preliminary, mains, and interview. Only those who meet the minimum cut-off requirements will be considered for the positions.

The Cut-off is determined based on exam performance. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) officials will declare the APPSC Group 1 Cutoff Marks 2021 through the official portal like they do every year. It was confirmed, however, that the APPSC Group 1 Cut Off Marks 2021 will be different, with an Out Of 240 Marks. 2. For Backward Community Category – Qualifying Percentage is 35% (i.e. 84 qualifying marks)
3. For SCs, STs, and PHs Category – Qualifying Percentage is 30% (i.e. 72 qualifying marks)

The cut-off marks of APPSC Group 1 for past years are given below:

• The year 2018 – 90.48
• The year 2017 – 55.10
• The year 2016 – 87.50

The cut-off marks for the Mains examination are described below:

1. For General Category – 330 marks out of a maximum of 825 marks
2. For OBC Category – 288.75 marks out of a maximum of 825 marks
3. For SCs, STs, and PHs Category – 247.50 marks out of maximum 825 marks
