BPSC 70th Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BPSC Exam 2024 is given in the BPSC 70th Notification. The eligibility requirement for BPSC CCE is set by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The parameters for eligibility consists of Age Requirement, Age Relaxation, Number of Attempts for Exam, Educational Requirement, Nationality, Physical Standards etc.

The lower age limit starts from 20 years and the upper age limit including age relaxation is 42 years. A graduation or equivalent degree from any government recognized university is required. The interested candidates must be a citizen of India or permanent residents of India, having certificate of Indian citizenship.

Interested candidates must check the criterion before filling the form, to be eligible for the BPSC Exam 2024. BPSC Eligibility 2024 – Nationality

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India, to be eligible for the BPSC exam.
  • The candidate can be permanent resident of the India, but they must have the relevant government-issued documents proving their permanent residency.

70th BPSC Exam: Age Limit Requirement

The minimum age requirement for BPSC Combined competitive Exam is 20 years for some posts. It may be 21 and 22 for others. The maximum age limit varies according to the category and age relaxation which is till 42 years.

  • There is no limit on the number of attempts, as long as the age limit is crossed.
  • Ex-servicemen till 53 years of age, can avail BPSC age relaxation of three years.
