Delhi Police Constable 2019 – Selection Process

Recruitment of candidates for the position of Constable in Delhi Police will take place through a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The exam is held in phases-

Delhi Police Constable 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the Delhi Police Constable post, you should be well aware of the eligibility criteria, which are as follows-

1. Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board

2. Age limit

• The SSC CPO age limit of the male candidate must be between 18 years and 21 years
• The age of the female candidate must be between 18 years and 25 years

• Height- 170 cm (165 cm for ST)
• Weight- 50 kg at least
• Chest- 81-85 cm

For female candidates-

• Height- 157 cm (155 cm for ST/SC)
• Weight- 40 kg at least

4. Physical Efficiency

For male candidates-

• High Jump- 2 meters in 3 chances
• Long Jump- 65 meters in 5 chances
• 6 km race- in 6.5 minutes

For female candidates-

• High Jump- 3 feet in 3 chances or 0.9 meters
• Long Jump- 9 feet in 3 chances or 2.7 meters
• 6 km race- in 8 minutes

Delhi Police Constable 2019 – Application Form Submission Process

The steps to fill out and submit the online application form is very simple.

• Visit the official website of Delhi Police
• Register online (first-time users) or log in using the Registration ID and Password (already registered candidates). Make sure that you have a valid email ID and an active phone no. during the application form fill-up and until the declaration of results. You will receive all the updates of the SSC CPO exam on your phone and through emails.
• Fill up the application form by providing details about yourself and the position you are applying for
• Submit the form online after paying the required application fee using Internet banking/credit card/debit card
