Delhi Police HC Ministerial Typing Test 2023

The Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) recruitment process includes several important tests, including a Typing Test on Computer and a Computer Formatting Test. Here’s a detailed explanation of these tests:

Typing Test on Computer (Maximum 25 Marks):
Candidates who successfully clear the Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Examination will proceed to the Typing Test on Computer. This test is designed to assess the candidates’ typing skills and is of a 10-minute duration. The marks obtained in this test will be considered when preparing the final result. Candidates will be allocated marks based on their typing speed.

Delhi Police HC Ministerial Computer Formatting Test:
Candidates who qualify for the Typing Test on Computer will advance to the Computer Formatting Test. In this test, candidates will be assessed on their proficiency in using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel. The test is of a qualifying nature, meaning candidates must meet specific criteria to pass.

During this test, candidates will have 10 minutes for each component (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel). They are required to format a document as per the provided hand-out and print it using a printer. The test assesses various formatting features commonly used in routine tasks. To qualify, candidates must score at least 6 out of 10 marks for each formatting feature in each test. It’s important to note that candidates can make corrections using editing tools during the test.

This multi-faceted evaluation process ensures that candidates possess the necessary typing and computer formatting skills required for the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) position.
