The FCI Assistant Grade 3 Selection Process 2024 consists of only two stages. Both the stages are online written exams. The Phase 1 consists of four subjects which are common for all the posts and Phase 2 are divided into two papers. The Paper 1 will be common for all posts and Paper 2 will be technical/ post specific.

1. Online Phase 1 Exam:
The journey begins with an Online Preliminary Exam, where candidates are tested on their numerical ability, reasoning ability, general awareness and english language skills. This phase serves as the initial screening process to shortlist candidates for the next round.
2. Online Phase 2 Exam:
Shortlisted candidates proceed to the Online Phase 2 Exam, which delves deeper into their knowledge of general awareness, reasoning, computer proficiency, english, numerical ability and technical knowledge. This stage is crucial in evaluating the candidates’ competency for the Assistant Grade 3 position.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Exam Pattern – Phase 1
The online exam of Phase-I shall be common irrespective of the post. For each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one fourth (1/4) of the mark assigned to that question. The test structure for Phase I Online exam is as follows.

Candidate should note that there will be negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to a question in Phase –II. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no negative marking for that question. Check out the pattern for Paper 1 below:

Each Question will have 2 marks. | 90 minutes |
