The selection process for FSSAI Assistant positions continues to prioritize candidates with the necessary skills and qualifications. This ensures that only the most competent individuals are selected to contribute to maintaining food safety across the nation.
FSSAI Assistant Selection Process – Overview
Following the application submission period, eligible candidates are invited to participate in the selection process, which usually consists of the following stages:
- Written Examination: Candidates are tested on their knowledge of relevant subjects such as food safety regulations, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, computer, english language and reasoning ability. The exam format includes multiple-choice questions only.
- Document Verification: After successfully clearing the written exam, candidates are required to present original documents to verify their eligibility criteria, such as educational certificates, identity proof, and caste/category certificates (if applicable).
- Final Selection: Based on performance in the written examination and document verification, the final merit list is prepared. Candidates who rank high on the merit list are offered appointment letters for the FSSAI Assistant position, subject to medical fitness and other formalities.
FSSAI Assistant Exam Pattern 2024
The marking scheme for FSSAI Assistant Computer Based Test Stage 1 will be +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 mark for each wrong answer. The CBT will be of 180 minute duration with MCQ questions. Check out the table below to know the FSSAI Assistant CBT Exam Pattern:
