LIC has announced more than 7500 vacancies for the post of LIC Assistant for various divisions throughout the country. The Online Application Process for LIC Assistant 2019 Recruitment has already begun from 17th September 2019. The last date to apply is 1st October 2019. Since the notification is released a lot of interested candidates have queried whether they can apply from any division for which LIC Assistant Vacancies have been declared. To answer all such enquiries, LIC has now released an official LIC Assistant Regional Language Notice. We will take a closer look at this notice in our blog.
LIC Assistant Regional Language Notice – What does it say?
The notice related to LIC Assistant recruitment 2019 has the following message -:
Knowledge of Official Language of the State-IMPORTANT NOTICE
“Candidate should have the knowledge of the Official language of the State for which he is submitting the application. Selected candidates are required to prove their knowledge of the Official language of the respective States, before joining”
This means, Candidates can apply for only those divisions whose official State language they Know.
For Eg. A candidate who wants to apply for LIC Divisions in Maharashtra like Mumbai, Pune, etc. must know the Official Language of the State of Maharashtra, i.e. Marathi.
Also, Please Note that LIC will test the Knowledge of Official Language of the State from which a candidate has applied before the joining.
