MPSC PSI Answer Key- Answer Key for Preliminary examination, How to check

The MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) has announced the recruitment of 376 eligible candidates for the post of Police Sub-Inspector. The Commission had released the notification on 28th October 2021 for the 2021 cycle. The selection process will be conducted in four stages, Preliminary exam, Mains Exam, Physical Fitness Tests, and Document Verification. The last date to make an application was 30the November 2021. 

The initial stage of the examination is a written test where the question papers are objective-based, consisting of multiple-choice questions. The Commission has declared the examination dates for these two stages for the 2020 recruitment cycle, which it had postponed due to covid restrictions. 

The selected candidates will have to appear for the Physical fitness tests to satisfy the criteria and obtain minimum qualifying marks. The candidates who succeed in Physical fitness tests will have to appear for document verification with all the original documents and certificates. 

The final result in form of a Merit list is published on the official website of the Commission. The successful candidates will be appointed for the Police Sub-Inspector (Non-Gazetted) posts will be appointed in the state.  

The MPSC Prelims Exam consists of four sets of question papers, i.e., Set A, Set B, Set C, and Set D. The preliminary exam for the 2021 cycle is yet to be conducted, which is scheduled to be conducted on the 26th February 2022. The MPSC PSI Answer key for these exams will be published after the examinations are conducted. The answer key for this examination is hosted on the official website of the Commission. 

MPSC PSI Answer Key

The Commission had issued the first MPSC PSI Answer Key for the preliminary examination-2020 on its website for the candidates. However, the Commission had revised this answer key and issued the Final answer key after receiving the authentic explanations and references from the candidates on 17th November 2021. This answer key was conducted final. The candidates who have secured marks higher than the cut-off marks will be considered qualified candidates. The Commission had issued the Final revised answer key on 25-11-2021, after which no alterations can take place. The Commission had issued the Maharashtra Subordinate Services, Group-B posts Preliminary Examinations- Police Sub-inspector- List of Qualified candidates for 2020 on 3rd December 2021. 

The Commission will release the Answer Key for the 2021 cycle after it holds the exams. 

MPSC PSI Answer Key for Preliminary examination- 2021 

The MPSC PSI Answer key enables the candidates to check the correct answers for the exam papers. The answer key will help them calculate the expected marks in the examination. Candidates can calculate the marks by comparing the answers provided in the answer key with the original answer sheet of the candidates. The candidates will come to know about their final result regarding their admission to the Mains examination only after the cutoff list is released by the Commission. 

The answer sheet of the objective-based Multiple Choice questions consists of only correct answers to the question numbers for all the sets of papers, i.e., A, B, C, and D. They don’t contain questions and options.

Step 2: Select the “Answer key of Examinations” option available in the “Candidates Information” Tab appearing on the website’s home page. 

Step 3: Search for “Maharashtra Sub-Ordinate Services, Non-Gazetted, Group-B Preliminary Examination 2020-Answer Key” on the page. 

Step 4: The candidates should keep track of Final and Revised Final Answer keys issued by the Commission. 

Step 5: To obtain the original answer sheet, the candidates should make the application as per the defined procedure. 

Step 6: Compare the answers and calculate your expected marks 

Step 7: Check for the Cut off marks and the list of Qualified Candidates. 

The examinations are conducted in both languages, i.e., English and Marathi. Answers key is issued to keep the transparency and accountability of the Commission towards the examination. 

The candidates who have any objection regarding the published answers key can object to the answer key by sending their answers and supporting authentic documents and explanations to validate their claims. If the Commission establishes that the candidates’ claims are correct, it will make the changes in the answer key and issue the revised final answer key. The candidates should send their recommendations to the Commission before the due date as prescribed by the MPSC.

The answer sheet of the preliminary exams will be made available to them after the declaration of the results of the relevant examinations.   • Scanned Image of original answer sheet
  • Marks assumed for the result
  • Minimum Demarcation line of points

After processing the request, the concerned answer sheet will be made available to the candidates on the website.
