  • The applicant should be fluent in the Marathi language ( both speak and write).
  • The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university by the central government or an equivalent qualification.

For the special posts, besides being fluent in the Marathi language, the applicant should also possess a bachelor’s degree in specific fields like CA, PG degree in commerce, MBA (finance), an engineering degree in fields related to science, civil, architecture, mathematics and physics.

Physical Fitness Criteria 

There are some of the designated special posts in which physical measurements and fitness play a vital role, as mentioned by MPSC, like the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Transport Officer and related special posts. Here candidates should ensure that they meet the prescribed measurements and fitness criteria.

  • The candidate should ensure that all the mandatory documents prescribed on the official website to be carried during registration and be kept safe for further date.
  • One must be aware that a driver’s license and ration card do not count as identity proof.
