NIACL AO Scorecard 2018-19 – Exam Pattern, Expected Cutoff

The Government-owned organization New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) invites application for vacant posts every year. In 2018, NIACL announced 312 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officers (AO). Eligible candidates will be recruited based on their performance in the national-level entrance exam conducted by the governing body. Those who are looking to appear for the exam must ensure good competitive exam preparation.

NIACL AO Exam Pattern

1. Preliminary

The first stage of NIACL, which is the Preliminary stage, is scheduled to be held on 30^th January 2019. The exam pattern for the same is described below-

2. Mains

Additionally, the descriptive test on essay/letter writing will comprise of 30 marks, the duration of which is 30 minutes. This is also conducted online.

3. Interview

Candidates, who successfully pass the Prelims and Mains, will be called for the final Interview round at select centres.

The final selection of candidates is based on the aggregate marks obtained in online examination and interview. The ratio (weight) of the interview and online examination is 20:80 respectively.

NIACL AO Scorecard 2018-19

NIACL will release scorecard for each phase of the examination. Candidates must secure the minimum cut-off mark to be eligible to appear for the next round of examination.

The minimum cut-off changes every year, depending on the number of vacancies and the difficulty of examination.

The table below features the cut-off mark for the year 2016-17. You can expect NIACL 2018-19 cut-off to be somewhat similar.

After the completion of all three phases of the examination, NIACL will release the results online.

Steps to download NIACL AO scorecard 2018-19

Selected candidates can download the scorecard online following these steps-

• Visit the official website of the NIACL
• Login with your registered User ID and Password
• Go to the section that says ‘NIACL AO Scorecard 2018-19
• Enter your registration number/roll number/date of birth to view your scorecard
• Click on the ‘Download’ button to save the file

It is advisable that candidates download the e-scorecard and get a print out of the same for own recovery.

The NIACL scorecard will feature the following details-

• Candidate’s name and category
• Registration number and Roll number
• Personal detail, like Date of Birth
• Name of the post applied for i.e. Administrative Officer
• Total marks secured
• Minimum cut-off mark
• Aggregate mark secured in each section/paper
