Read the Success Story of Rupal Jain, a B.Sc graduate from Uttar Pradesh, who went through many ups & downs during her preparation days but in this two years journey, she never lost hope and kept herself motivated to clear some prestigious exams like SBI PO 2019.
Here is her inspiring story:
Hello friends, my name is Rupal Jain and I am from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. I had done my graduation with B.Sc in 2017 & after that I started preparing for Bank Exams. Till date I have given around 23 exams in almost 2 years duration and faced many failures but I always learned something from them and kept myself motivated for the next steps.
It was my first attempt in SBI PO and I got selected. Last year in SBI PO I was out from preliminary exam due to lack of proper and planned preparation strategy. The only thing I focused upon was “I can do it and I will do it”.
My strategy for clearing any bank exam is same. I always start preparing for mains exam along with prelims & give as many mock tests and quizzes as I can.
For Reasoning– I completed my basic from YouTube videos and then practiced from online questions, quizzes and mock tests. If you know the right approach to solve a question, then in this subject one can have 100% accuracy.
For Quantitative Aptitude– I completed my basics first. Remember one thing: Always go with the basic methods & no shortcuts to solve the questions with full accuracy. Practice from online questions and mocks as much as possible.
For English– I read news editorials and RCs and solved 2-3 RCs daily. This improved my reading skills, I think this helped me a lot for securing good marks in this section.
For GA– I used to write down 10-12 news headlines daily in a notebook and then revise it accordingly. During exam times, I used prepare from online GA videos and PDFs.
For Interview– I prepared around banking knowledge, about my native place, and about my hobbies. I decided to be myself at the time of interview.
In this journey of mine Oliveboard helped me a lot. I gave Oliveboard mock tests & I learned GA from Oliveboard GA Bolt and Oliveboard YouTube channel. Mock interview videos of Oliveboard also helped to know about the expected questions and nature of interviewers.
For banking aspirations, I want to say that never take your failure for granted & learn from them in order to prepare yourself the best for the next steps. In my this preparation journey, there were many ups and downs but I kept motivating myself that I can do it. Now, I can say one thing
“My Failures made me who I am today.”
So never lose patience and hope. If you can manage to keep yourself dedicated then half your work is already sorted.
I hope my journey will help other aspirants in their preparation. All the Best Guys!
