1. An Inspiring Journey – Success Story of Subhajit

Hi, I am Subhajit Tewari from Bankura, West Bengal. I am a B.TECH (CSE), graduate from St.Thomas’ College of Engineering & Technology, Kolkata. STCET is one of the finest private engineering colleges. So, I graduated in 2015, got selected in Infosys as Systems Engineer through college placement.

I joined Infosys & was there till 17th Jan 2017. Infosys is a good company to work with but I did not like the corporate life. Life was not easy for me there. Then, finally, in 2017 we came to a settlement & I came back home.

In 2017, I gave one or two bank exams to feel the exam trend and competition. Started preparation from 2018. In 2018, I cleared IBPS PO mains, IBPS SO mains but was not selected in the Final list due to a shortage of some marks. So, on 1st April 2019, I was waiting for these 3 results but not selected in any of them.

After that, I gave PNB SO & LIC AAO. Here also, I didn’t make it to the final list. In LIC AAO, I got 30+ marks more than the cut-off but in one section (Either CA or IA) I didn’t clear. Hard Luck!! But I did not break down, rather I made myself stronger, day by day.

I have realized my weak areas and worked on those areas. There was a time when I couldn’t score more than 30-40% in the Current Affair section. That was the reason I didn’t get selected in earlier exams. Now, I am getting 65-75% in the CA section.

3. Subhajit’s Tips To Aspirants

So, the word “QUIT” should not be in your dictionary if you want to be selected. Work Hard. Keep trying. I have studied, enjoyed with friends, enjoyed web series over Netflix, movies, everything. Because 4-5 hrs study a day is enough, though it varies from person to person & DON’T LISTEN TO SO-CALLED ”WELL WISHERS” because those people always try to demotivate you.
