“I am Prashant Gautam. After Completing my B.Tech as a Mechanical Engineer I started looking for good pvt job but after joining a firm for few months, I realized that this is not what I have to do in my life. Having said that I started looking for a Govt job and found that financial sector is the most suitable place where I can make my future with promising career growth and proper balance in life and work.

Preparation Tips From Prashant:

Quants & Reasoning:

Always start by clearing your concepts and then proceed with giving mock tests. You can refer some good book for this purpose. After starting of my preparation I was always comfortable in Reasoning and Mathematics.I knew that just some good amount of practice is good to go in order to score well in these two sections. Oliveboard test series helped me a lot to gain speed and accuracy throughout my practice session.

English:

English comes to me as a headache as I don’t have any hold on vocab and grammar. Moving forward I then started working on my grammar and soon realized that vocabulary plays a bigger role than grammar in banking exams. It took me around one and half years to master my vocab and today I can proudly say that I score more marks in English in comparison to other subjects. You can refer to Neetu Singh’s book to clear your basic concepts.

GK/GA:

For GK/GA, I used to read newspapers daily and gave Oliveboard’s GK tests to keep myself updated. Also making small notes proved very helpful in my last minute revision.

How was Oliveboard Helpful:

For practise purpose I was always confused regarding which mock I need to go for, and then my friend suggested me Oliveboard. Oliveboard not only gave me confidence but also a depth level of practice which is tougher than the real exam paper. The level of the test series provided by Oliveboard was at par with the real exam.
