The Technology Development Board (TDB), steadfast in its commitment to endorsing innovative solutions aligned with ‘Mission LiFE,’ extends its support to Aloe Ecell’s project, “Commercialization of Eco-friendly-1.5V AA size Aloe Vera-based batteries.” With a project valuation of Rs. 2.98 crores, TDB’s significant contribution of Rs. 1.91 crores as a soft loan amplifies the project’s potential to elevate eco-friendly innovation to new heights.

Aloe Ecell’s Innovative Strategy: Eco-Friendly Battery Initiative

Aloe Ecell, the driving force behind this collaboration, employs a brilliant approach by crafting an eco-friendly 1.5V AA size battery. This innovation provides an alternative to conventional batteries burdened with heavy metals and hazardous chemicals. Harnessing the inherent properties of Aloe Vera, Aloe Ecell has formulated an electrolyte that not only matches the performance of established market standards but also champions environmental responsibility. The company is poised to establish facilities for the commercial production of primary batteries in Bundi, Rajasthan.

The primary objective of this project seamlessly aligns with the principles of ‘Mission LiFE’ – introducing lifestyle choices that harmonize with ecological well-being.
