Opening the New Darshan Queue Complex in Shirdi

His first stop is at the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple, where he will take part in pooja (religious ceremony) and darshan (sightseeing). Additionally, he will unveil the brand-new Darshan Queue Complex at the temple, a modern facility designed to ensure comfort and convenience for the devotees. This complex boasts multiple waiting halls and essential amenities, accommodating more than ten thousand devotees at a time.

Blessing the Nilwande Dam with Jal Pujan

At roughly 2 PM, the Prime Minister will perform the Jal Pujan (water blessing) at the Nilwande Dam. This dam project, conceived in 1970, is under development at a cost of about Rs 5177 crore. It will benefit 182 villages across seven Tehsils, providing them with water through a pipe distribution network.

Boosting Development in Shirdi: Maharashtra and Goa

Around 3:15 PM, Prime Minister Modi will take part in a public program in Shirdi. During this event, he will inaugurate and dedicate various development projects valued at around Rs 7500 crore. These projects span different sectors, including health, rail, road, and oil and gas. This initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the overall development of the region.

Introducing the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana’

The Prime Minister will also unveil the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana’ during the public program. This scheme will provide an additional Rs 6000 per year to more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra, offering financial assistance to farmers.

Inaugurating Various Projects

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and dedicate several projects during his visit, including the Ayush Hospital at Ahmednagar Civil Hospital, electrification of the Kurduwadi-Latur Road railway section, the expansion of railway lines connecting Jalgaon to Bhusaval, and the four-laning of the Sangli to Borgaon section of NH-166. He will also unveil additional facilities at the Manmad Terminal of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and lay the foundation stone of the Maternal & Child Health Wing at Ahmednagar Civil Hospital. Furthermore, he will distribute Ayushman cards and Svamitva cards to beneficiaries.

The 37th National Games: Maharashtra and Goa

After his eventful day in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Modi will head to Goa, where he will inaugurate the 37th National Games. This sporting extravaganza aims to promote and celebrate the country’s sports culture. It’s a significant platform for identifying and honoring top athletes while fostering a love for sports among the population.

First Time in Goa

This marks the first time the National Games are being held in Goa, from October 26 to November 9, 2023. Over 10,000 athletes from all over India will participate in more than 43 sports disciplines across 28 venues.
