 UGC NET Answer Key

The UGC NET Answer Key is released after the examination is concluded in online mode on the official website. The candidates can calculate their expected marks and estimate their results with the help of the answer key. The Answer key released will subject-wise. The first answer key is provisional. The candidates can follow its objection(if any). The student must pay processing fees of Rs.1000 per question. The candidate shall get the refund of processing fees paid if the challenge is found correct after the review. 

The second and final answer key is released after taking into consideration the points and objections raised by the candidates looking into it. The answer keys are released for the candidates to check and evaluate the performance and estimate the marks they secure.

Candidates can follow the following steps to download the UGC NET Answer Key:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET

Step 2: Click on the link available for the answer key for UGC NET 2021

Step 3: A new UGC NET Answer Key login window shall be displayed.

Step 4: Enter login credentials- application number, date of birth, and security pin.

Step 5: Submit the details.

 UGC NET Exam Pattern

UGC NET examination is an online exam conducted as a CBT (Computer-based test). The examination is conducted in two papers –

• UGC NET Paper 1
• UGC NET Paper 2

The candidates have to complete both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for three hours. Both papers, Paper 1 & Paper 2 contain objective-type questions and candidates must attempt questions from both papers.

The computer-based test will be an Objective type multiple choice questions test.

• The total number of questions in both papers is 150.
• Two marks are allotted for each correct question.
• Total marks are 300 marks.

• The duration of examination for both the papers, Paper1 & Paper 2 is 3 hours for regular candidates.

 Calculation Of Expected Marks Using The UGC Net Answer Key 

The UGC NET exam is conducted for two Papers. Paper 1 and Paper 2, in which Paper 1 is conducted for 100 marks whereas Paper 2 is conducted for 200 marks.

Once the UGC NET Answer Key is released, the candidates can use the same to calculate their marks and predict their scores. Since no negative marking is applied, the candidate shall calculate their marks on basis of the number of correct questions they get. 1. In Paper 1, there will be 50 questions carrying 2 marks each.

2. Paper 2 also carries 2 marks for correct answers each.

8. Click on the ‘Save your claims’ and pay fees button.
