5th Edition of AUSINDEX-23 at Sydney

The 5th edition of the biennial AUSINDEX maritime exercise took place from August 22 to 25, 2023, between the Indian Navy and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). This exercise was held in Sydney, Australia, and involved the participation of several naval vessels and aircraft from both nations.

Indian naval ships INS Sahyadri and INS Kolkata were part of the exercise, alongside the Australian naval ships HMAS Choules and HMAS Brisbane. The exercise featured not only ships and their associated helicopters but also included the engagement of fighter aircraft and maritime patrol aircraft.
