‘Ayush Aahar’ Products Showcased at World Food India

The World Food India 2023 event featured the presentation of innovative Ayush Aahar products from Ayush. Start-ups from various regions of India had the opportunity to display their products at the Ministry of Ayush pavilion located at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. A total of 18 start-ups participated, collectively showcasing more than 30 Ayush products at the exhibition. This event provided a platform for showcasing and promoting Ayush products and innovations in the food industry.

Special Session on Ayush Aahar

As part of the World Food India event, a special session on Ayush Aahar is organized.
This session will focus on various aspects related to the Ayush diet. It includes its significance, health benefits, and efforts to integrate Ayurveda into the daily lives of people worldwide.
It will also delve into the initiatives aimed at fostering innovation within the Ayush sector.
Moreover, discussions will cover consultations with unicorns (highly successful startups) and the emergence of new startups in the Ayush sector.
This session aims to provide valuable insights and promote the Ayush industry’s growth and influence.

Promotion of Ayush Startups

The Ministry of Ayush actively engages in efforts to enhance the global sales and marketing of Ayush products. The special session at World Food India will delve deeply into various aspects, including:

Identifying the global market for Ayush products.
Strengthening the export system for Ayush products from India.
Analyzing market opportunities for Ayush products on a global scale.

For the coordination of this event, the Ministry of Ayush has designated the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) as the nodal agency. Additionally, various institutions and organizations such as the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, and Ayush Export Promotion Council (Ayushexcil) are actively contributing resources and efforts to support the World Food India event. These collaborative efforts aim to bolster the promotion and global presence of Ayush products.

About World Food India 2023

The second edition of World Food India 2023 was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan on November 3rd, in the presence of Shri Pashupati Kumar Paras, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries.

This is a global mega-food event which is organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) from November 3rd to November 5th, 2023, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The valedictory address on November 5th will be delivered by Hon’ble President, Shrimati Draupadi Murmu.
In this edition of World Food India, the Netherlands will be the ‘Partner Country,’ and Japan and Vietnam are designated as ‘Focus Countries.’
