What is the RRB NTPC Typing Proficiency Test?

The RRB NTPC typing proficiency test assesses a candidate’s typing skills and accuracy required for a particular post. Candidates who have applied for positions such as Senior Time Keeper, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist will have to undertake a typing proficiency test. The details of the typing test are given below:

  • The duration of the test is 10 minutes.
  • All candidates have to maintain a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  • Applicants will also have to maintain a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi.
  • Candidates will have to take the test on a computer that does not have any editing or spelling check features.
