AFCAT Selection Process 2023- Written Test

The AFCAT exam pattern for the online computer-based test is divided into four sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test. Here are further details related to the AFCAT exam pattern:

The exam consists of 100 questions carrying a total of 300 marks.
The Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) is divided into three sections: Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical & Electronics.

AFCAT Selection Process 2023 – Interview Process

The Indian Air Force prepares a list of candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying AFCAT cutoff in the online written test. Candidates applying for NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Branch will be directly called for AFSB testing.

The AFSB Interview consists of three stages

AFSB Interview Stage 1

The first day of the interview session includes the Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with the Picture Perception and Discussion Test.
Candidates who qualify for stage 1 will undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility for the respective posts.
Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be sent back.

AFSB Interview Stage 2

The psychological test takes place on Day 1 (afternoon).
Group tests and personality tests are conducted for the next five days after document verification.

AFSB Interview Stage 3

This stage is exclusively for candidates applying for the Flying Branch.
The Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) Test is mandatory.
