CISF or the Central Industrial Security Force has recently announced 429 cisf recruitment 2019 vacancy for the post of Head Constable for the year 2019. Out of these 429 vacant seats, 64 will be filled through a limited departmental exam, and the remaining 365 seats will be filled through a direct recruitment process.

CISF Eligibility criteria

Candidates who wish to sit for the online examination must fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to register for the same.

  1. Age criteria-
  • The age of the candidate should be between 18-25 years (for General candidates)
  • Age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years is given to SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively
  • For PWD, the age relaxation is given as 10 years for General candidates, 13 years for OBC candidates, 15 years for SC/ST candidates
  1. Educational qualification-
  • The candidate should be have passed Higher Secondary education with a school certificate (10+2) or equivalent
  • Must have the required qualification from a recognized university/institute
  • Must possess typing speed of 35 WPM (for English) and 30 WPM (for Hindi)

The online application process will begin soon, so keep an eye on the official website. The application fee to be paid is Rs.100 for General and OBC candidates. No fee is charged for ST/SC/Ex-Servicemen/female candidates.

How to apply for SSC CISF exam?

Eligible candidates can register online to fill up the application form following these simple steps-

  • Log in to the official website of SSC CISF
  • Choose the option ‘New Registration’ to register online. Candidates will be provided with a registration ID and password.
  • Candidates who are already registered can use the given ID and password to log in and fill in the online application form.
  • Enter all the necessary details. Candidates must also upload a recent picture, as directed by the examination governing body.
  • Make the payment online using Net banking
  • Get a print out of the application form and the payment receipt for your safekeeping

You will receive a mail/notification immediately after your application form is submitted successfully.

CISF Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Candidates need to appear for the online examination that takes place in stages-

  • Physical Standard Test
  • Written examination
  • Medical examination
  • Personal interview
