SIDBI Grade B Nationality

A candidate must be one of the following:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire), Ethiopia, or Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates in categories (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India. Such candidates can appear for the SIDBI exam/interview, but the final offer of appointment will only be made once the required eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India.

SIDBI Grade B Age Limit

For officers in Grade ‘B’: Candidates must be between 25 and 33 years of age.
(Candidates must have been born on or after November 8, 1991, and on or before November 9, 1999 [both dates inclusive] to be eligible to apply.)

SIDBI Grade B Qualification

There are 3 posts available under the Grade B Manager vacancy: General, Legal, and Information Technology (IT). The educational qualification required for each stream is shared below.

General	Graduation: Any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) OR Post-Graduation: Any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)
Legal	Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Must be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India. Desirable: Master’s Degree in Law or Company Secretary (CS) qualification. Proficiency in computer applications.
IT	Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Electronics, or Electronics & Communications) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD candidates) from a recognized University/Institution. OR MCA from a recognized University/Institution with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD candidates) in aggregate. Desirable: Candidates with industry certifications in the following areas will be preferred: AI/ML/Data Science Full Stack Application Development CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent ITIL Foundation Certified in IT Service Management

SIDBI Grade B Post-Qualification Work Experience

General	Essential Experience: 1. Minimum 5 years of permanent officer-level experience in:RBI or SEBI 2. All India Financial Institutions: EXIM Bank, NABARD, NHB, NaBFID, SIDBI 3. Scheduled Commercial Banks (under RBI Act, 1934) 4. NBFCs registered with RBI Desirable: Passed JAIIB/CAIIB
Legal	At least five years’ post-qualification experience as a Law Officer (permanent/full-time) in the Legal Department of: 1. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) 2. All-India Financial Institutions like EXIM Bank, NABARD, NHB, NaBFID, SIDBI 3. Scheduled Commercial Banks (RBI Act, 1934) 4. Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). 5. NBFCs Desirable: Special knowledge of Banking Law, Company Law, Labour Law, Constitutional Law, Recovery, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Laws, Property and Revenue matters, along with experience in drafting pleadings and legal documents.
IT	At least five years of experience in Information Technology as an IT/System officer (permanent/full-time contract) in one of the following: 1. All India Financial Institutions (EXIM Bank, NABARD, NHB, NaBFID, SIDBI) 2. Scheduled Commercial Banks under the RBI Act 3. Listed Companies 4. NBFCs registered with RBI Desirable: Experience with remote process automation tools or UI skills. Experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level security solutions. Collaboration with diverse teams to implement security measures. Experience in designing and managing Network, Virtualization/Cloud, and storage technologies. Knowledge of infrastructure design principles for high availability, reliability, and scalability.
