Complete Details of Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna

The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is inviting applications from eligible students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories for free coaching under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna. This initiative aims to provide educational support and coaching to students from these communities to help them excel academically.

About the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna

Under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna, eligible students have the following salient features:

Eligible students can receive free coaching from the empaneled coaching institutes.
Students also have the option to choose non-empaneled coaching institutes and receive fee reimbursement, subject to the limits prescribed under the scheme.

For which Competitive Exams

Various Group (A, B, C) Recruitment Exams conducted by agencies like SSC/DSSSB/Railway/Bank and entrance exams for MBA, MCA.
Various recruitment exams for Defense forces i.e. NDA, CDS, AFCAT.
c. Exams for recruitment of technical posts i.e. IES, GATE, A.E., J.E.

All the concerned Empanelled Coaching institutes as per the lists annexed have been issued necessary directions in this regard.

Eligibility Criteria for the students

Residents of Delhi & belonging to SC/ST/OBC / EWS Categories.
Annual family income limit is up to Rs. 8 lacs.
Passed 10th and 12th class from schools in Delhi
Full fills Eligibility Criteria for the specific competitive Exam.

Documents Required

Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, or EWS Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, as applicable.

How to apply for the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna

For Empanelled Institutes

Students can directly apply to the institute for admission in the annexed prescribed format.
The institute will enroll the students based on full-filling of eligibility criteria and availability of seats.
After enrollment of students, the institute shall submit a complete list of such admitted students to the Department within seven days from the start of the Coaching program.
A list of empanelled Institutes along with the number of seats allotted is available on the website.

For Non-Empanelled Institutes

Students can directly apply in the prescribed format indicating the Coaching center.
Envelope containing the application shall super scribed on top in Bold letters, “Application for coaching under Jai bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna”
The application shall be submitted to, the Deputy Director (Implementation ), Department for the Welfare of SCs, STs, OBCs, GNCT of Delhi, Vikas Bhawan, B-Block, 2nd Floor, I.P. Estate, New Delhi between on any working days within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the newspapers.
Applications of the students will be scrutinized in the Department and all eligible students are allowed to avail coaching from a non-empanelled institute of their choice subject to the availability of seats.
In case, the number of applications under a particular category exceeds the seats available then a merit list of the students will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th /12th class.
The Department shall inform the students of their selection under the scheme, in due course.

Benefits of the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana

The scheme covers the coaching fee, which can be paid directly to the coaching institute or reimbursed to the students.
Additionally, eligible students will receive a stipend of Rs. 2500 per month directly in their bank accounts during the course period.
