Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), under the Ministry of
New & Renewable Energy has signed an MoU with the THDC India Limited (THDCIL), to
provide financial and technological support to develop renewable energy projects.
The IREDA has also signed an MoU with Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation
Limited (BVFCL), under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers to provide techno-financial
expertise to develop RE energy projects and fundraising.

11th edition of Exercise EKUVERIN-21 between India and Maldives will be conducted

PNB launches android app for differently-abled employees

  • Punjab National Bank (PNB) said it has launched PNB Pride-CRMD module tool, an android-based application for differently-abled employees, to monitor and effectively follow up with the special mention account (SMA) borrowers.
  • This tool shall be compatible with iOS also very soon, it said.
  • SMA accounts are stressed loans recognized early, enabling banks to initiate timely remedial actions, and preventing such borrowers from slipping to NPA

To make daily transactions of its customers more secure and easier, J&K Bank launched
its revised and refurbished Mobile Banking App mPay Delight for the public.

Notably, available on Google Play Store & Apple store, J&K Bank mPay Delight app has
been made more user friendly, vibrant and easier to use with biometric fingerprint
authentication for faster and more secure Logins.

Paytm, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer its startup toolkit to

Paytm announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Paytm Money has launched Portfolio
Management Services (PMS) Marketplace for HNI (High Networth Individuals) investors.

  • The marketplace has been launched in partnership with PMS advisory startup PMS Bazaar.
  • The platform aims to offer a transparent and comprehensive analysis of all PMS schemesfor HNI investors.
  • PMS is an investment service offered to HNIs with SEBI mandating a minimum investment of ₹50 lakh.
  • The PMS marketplace will offer key parameters for PMS schemes such as total assets, inception date, benchmark, and fund manager details for each scheme.

Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) has launched India’s first FASTag-based metro parking
facility, at the Kashmere Gate metro station in partnership with Delhi Metro Rail

  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 1 crore on Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) over certain specified violations, as referred in Section 26 (2) of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.

Government has expanded the Steering Committee for Advancing Local Value-Add and
Exports (SCALE committee) by adding three new members from different industries.
