Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) India has announced its plan to raise up to 2,000 crore INR through commercial paper. NLC is ‘Navratna’ government of India company, headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Khadi & Village Industries Commission inaugurated the 1st Silk Processing Plant at Surendranagar in Gujarat, which will help cut down the cost of production and increase the sale of famous Patola Sarees.
Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurated the 28th edition of New Delhi World Book Fair 2020 (NDWBF) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Indian Overseas Bank has received capital infusion of 4,360 crore from the Central government in preferential allotment of equity in FY20.
Maharashtra Cyber department and district level police are set to conduct ‘Cyber Safe Women’ campaign in over 100 schools and colleges guiding women and girls on how to stay safe. This step is taken to commemorate the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule. She is regarded as the first female teacher of India.
