FSSAI Technical Officer Eligibility 2024
The reference date for the calculation of age limit and other FSSAI Technical Officer Eligibility will be mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit as on the date of closing application is 30 years. As there is no work experience required, so the fresher candidates who possess the required educational qualification and are within the age limit can fill up the forms.

FSSAI Technical Officer Eligibility – Nationality
As Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory body under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, FSSAI makes sure that the candidate fulfills the criteria of nationality. A candidate shall be:
- a Citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
FSSAI Technical Officer Eligibility – Age Limit
The candidates applying for the FSSAI Technical Officer Post must be below the age of 30 years. However, the minimum age limit tends to remain as 18 years. The reference date for the calculation of the age limit will be the last date of closing application which will be released soon.
FSSAI Technical Officer Eligibility Criteria – Age Relaxation
As per the government norms, certain relaxations are provided in upper age limit of some categories. Let’s check out the age relaxation provided in the table below:
