1. Here Is Her Motivational Journey – Success Story of Naina

I am Naina Singh from Amritsar, Punjab. I have completed my B.tech and M.tech from Amritsar College of Engineering & Technology. I started preparing for Government jobs right after my post-graduation. I was able to clear almost all preliminary exams but was unable to clear the mains exams.

Being a B.tech student I didn’t have strong General Knowledge which was required in phase 2 in almost every exam. So along with phase 1, I decided to start preparing for the GK portion side by side.

1.1 List Of Exams Cleared

  1. LIC of India
  2. State Bank of India

I am very happy that I have cleared exams in 2 such good departments.

2. My Phase-wise Preparation Strategy

Here is how Naina covered her syllabus for prelims and mains exam and aced LIC Assistant exam.

2.1 Preliminary Exam Preparation Strategy

First of all, you should have a clear knowledge of every individual topic so I started preparing for preliminary exams topic wise. You should practice at least 100 questions for each topic. Then the next and the most important step is giving mock tests which will increase your speed in exams hence, increasing your number of attempts in the actual exam.

2.2 Mains Exam Preparation Strategy

The main exam requires a well-planned strategy while preparing, as well as while attempting the exam. The number of candidates is less than those appeared in the preliminary exam. Strategize the pattern you will follow while attempting the exam which includes time management, the right choice of questions attempting, skipping time-consuming questions.

3. General Awareness Preparation Tips

Special Guidance for GK – No subject is difficult, it just needs time and habit to grasp. Just start reading newspapers and start following daily GK bites. Make your own handwritten current affairs notes and read them alternate days. You will learn them easily for sure.

You can also refer to Oliveboard’s Monthly GK BOLT for the GA preparations.

4. Here Are For Some Tips For Aspirants

Just be calm and don’t lose hope. Where there is a will, there is A way. Your desire to succeed should be more than your thought of failure.

Start giving as many mock tests as you can give so that you can clear the preliminary exam very easily. Once you have cleared the preliminary exam then start preparing for mains exams.

All the sections of the Main exam are very important but the General knowledge portion requires more time and more effort so please start it from today itself.

5. How Oliveboard helped Her Achieve Her Goals!

I always recommend Oliveboard to everyone for clearing exams. According to me, if you are scoring good marks in Oliveboard mock test series then you are definitely clearing the actual preliminary exam.

It is always better to give mock tests that are closer to actual exams. So, Oliveboard is the best choice for mock tests as it is very much similar to real exams and very pocket friendly.

They regularly update new questions in Oliveboard mock tests which are very important and ignored by most of the candidates as all exams are using new patterns in exams so it is better to be prepared for anything whatever comes in exams.

All the best friends.
