HP Police Constable Exam Date: Overview, Other Important Dates

The Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board put notification of recruitment of HP Police Constables (Male, Female and Drivers) on their official website, in the month of September.  The interested candidates with 12th standard qualification filled up their forms online in the month of October. The application submission started on 1st October 2021 and went on till 31st October 2021. The HP Police Constable Exam Date for the written examination is still not announced but is expected soon. The HP Police Constable Exam Date will be released on the Himachal Pradesh Police’ official website. Although the PST and PET dates have been already announced by the Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board. Only those candidates who will qualify for their Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test will be eligible for the written test.

HP Police Constable Exam Date For Physical Standard Test (Pst) And Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

 Before the written examination, the candidates have to qualify for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). HP Police Constable Exam Date for the written examination will be released thereafter. 

PST includes the scrutiny of the candidates on the basis of their standard physical measurements which are set as per the norms. For PET only the candidates who will pass the PST will appear and they will be judged on their physical efficiency by the events like races, jumps etc. 

PST and PET dates are spread over a span of more than two months. The tests will commence on 9th November 2021 and will go on till 13th Jan 2022. The PST and PET dates are different for different districts.

Written Examination Pattern

Candidates who will qualify for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will appear for the written examination. HP Police Constable exam date for the written examination is yet to be announced. The written examination will be conducted on the same day across all the districts.

The written examination will be of 80 marks. It will be an objective type exam having 80 questions in total. Every correct question will give 1 mark to the candidate. There is no information released on the negative marking in the written exam. The time duration to finish the exam will be 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes. The written examination pattern is as follows.

Tips To Prepare Before The HP Police Constable Exam Date

A total number of 1,87,476 applications have been received by the Himachal Pradesh Police Recruitment Board against 1334 vacancies for the post of HP Police Constables. So, the competition is high and in order to save the spot, candidates have to prepare themselves well before the HP Police Constable exam date.  Here are a few tips and tricks to follow:

1. Go through the syllabus at length and make a timetable to prepare all the subjects thoroughly. Adhere to the timetable and study smartly.
