Andhra Pradesh: IBPS RRB PO Vacancies in Andhra Pradesh has been in the range of 160-300 in the last five years. The cut-off varied between 47.25 to 58.5, which is not following any specific trend. With 185 vacancies in 2021 candidates can expect a cut-off in the range of 52.5 and 56.75.
Assam: IBPS RRB Cut off for Prelims in Assam varies between 41 and 45.25. With 150 PO vacancies in 2021 candidates can expect a cut-off of 41 this year as well.
Bihar: Apart from 2016, Bihar cut off for IBPS RRB PO Prelims has been linear, meaning an increase in vacancy leads to an increased cut-off. 277 vacancies this year is expected to take the cut off even higher and slightly close to 51.
Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh has 65 vacancies in 2021, and candidates can expect a cut-off similar or slightly higher to that of year 2019.
Gujarat: The RRB in the state has been one of the largest employers over the years for both officers and office assistants. In the year 2021, 244 vacancies are announced, indicating a cut-off very similar to that of 2020 and is expected to go beyond 60.
Haryana: The IBPS RRB PO vacancy in Haryana crossed the 3 figure marks after 3 years in 2021. With 132 new vacancies, candidates can expect a cut-off similar to 2016.
Himachal Pradesh: There has been a 58% increase in the IBPS RRB PO vacancy in Himachal Pradesh compared to 2020. Given this fact, candidates can expect a cut-off close to 52.25 in 2021 which is lower than 2020 cut-off.
Jammu & Kashmir: JK has 83 RRB officer vacancies in 2021. With increased vacancy and candidates can expect a greater competition and thus an increased cut-off as well.
Jharkhand: 2021 IBPS RRB PO vacancy in Jharkhand has been the largest in 5 years with 73 announced posts. Candidates can expect a cut-off higher than 55 as there will be more number of applicants from the state.
Karnataka: With 0 vacancies in 2020 to 225 officer vacancies in 2021, IBPS has brought great opportunity for aspirants in Karnataka. As a result, candidates can expect a cut-off close to 50.

Kerala: 74 PO vacancies has been announced for Kerala in 2021. This number is similar to that of 2019, when the cut-off was 61. Candidates in Kerala should can for a score more than 62 this year to clear the cut-off.
Madhya Pradesh: There has been a steep decrease in the IBPS RRB PO vacancy in MP in 2021. With just 75 vacancies this year, the cut-off is expected to be an all-time high in the state and can be anything above 52.
Maharashtra: 172 vacancies are announced in the state of Maharashtra RRBs in 2021. This number is close to 2018 vacancies when the cut off was 47.50. Candidates should aim for a minimum of 48-50 this year in IBPS RRB PO.
Punjab: IBPS RRB PO vacancy in Punjab for the year 2021 is 32% lesser than that of last year. This scenario is very similar to year 2016 when there were 60 vacancies as compared to 68 in 2021. We recommend candidates to go for a minimum score of 60 this year to clear the cut-off.
Odisha: Odisha’s IBPS RRB PO vacancies are not cosistant in terms of numbers. This year the 62 vacancies are announced. This uneven vacancy trens has led to a different of 10.75 marks in the the lowest and the highest cutoffs over the past 5 years. Candidates in Odisha should be ready for an any cutoff mark between 57-62.75 in 2021.
Rajasthan: This is the state with one of the most consistent number of vacancies over the years. The PO vacancy has dropped below 200 for the first time in 2021. With 156 vacancies in 2021 cut-off is expected to be higher than 2020.
Tamil Nadu: IBPS RRB PO cut-off in Tamil Nadu has two trends. Any vacancy below 100 leads to a cut-off above 54 and for vacancies more than 100 the cut-off falls below 50. This year cut-off can be 45+.
Telangana: IBPS RRB PO vacancy in Telangana has fallen below the 3 figure mark for the first time in 5 years. There has been downward trend in the vacancy in the state with an overall increase in the cut-off as expected. Just like all the states with reduced vacancy this year, Telangana will show an upward spike in cut-off and is expected to be above 50.
Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh accounts for the maximum PO vacancies almost every year. Just like 2020, a total of 1744 Office Scale-I vacancies are announced in 2021. Trends show that in the years with more than 1000 vacancies in the state, the cut-off remains in the lower 50s.
Uttarakhand: As per the trend shown in the table below, this year’s 31 PO vacancy in Uttarakhand RRBs can lead to a cut-off of 56+.
West Bengal: This year PO vacancy in WB is similar to that of 2017. The IBPS RRB PO cut-off has always been greater than 51.25 and usually increases with increase in vacancy.

The cut-off varies with the number of vacancy in that particular year. But for the similar number of vacancy, the prelims’ cut-off tends to show a YOY increase.
