JPSC Selection Process 2024: The selection process of JPSC exam 2024 is conducted into three stages, by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. The exam is conducted for the recruitment of officers for the various posts of Group 1 and Group 2. The recruitment process consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. The prelims exam is only screening test for the mains stage. The marks obtained in only the mains and interview is considered for the final merit list. After that document verification process is arranged for the candidates who makes their place in the final merit list.

JPSC Selection Process
The JPSC exam conducting commission recommends the process of recruitment for the JPSC, through the JPSC official notification PDF. The selection steps concludes in three stages followed by Document verification.
- Preliminary Examination.
- Main Examination.
- Personality Test/Interview.

JPSC Selection Process 2024: Preliminary Exam
- The preliminary exam is the first stage of the JPSC selection process 2024.
- This stage is qualifying in nature. This is screening process for mains exam. Marks scored in prelims exam is not added for the final merit list.
- This stage consists of two compulsory objective-type papers: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II.
- Each paper carries 200 marks, making total of 400 marks.
- There will be no any negative marking for wrong answers in the JPSC prelims exam.

JPSC Selection Process 2024: Main Exam
- The main exam is the second stage of the JPSC selection process 2024.
- It consists of six compulsory papers, i.e., Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, Paper IV, Paper V, and Paper VI.
- The nature of the papers will be descriptive in nature.
- The marks obtained in the mains exam is considered for merit list.
- This stage is total of 1050 marks.
- Th time duration for each paper is 3 hours.

JPSC Selection Process 2024 – Interview
Candidates who successfully clear the main stage of the JPSC exam, they are invited for the Interview. In Interview, candidates are evaluated on their personality basis. Their knowledge, their interest, communication skills etc. are assessed. Those who confidently ace the interview process, they are invited for the further process based on their performance in the main exam and interview. The Interview or Personality skill Test process carries 100 marks.
JPSC Selection Process: Document Verification
After the Mains and Interview round, the shortlisted candidates are called for the Document Verification process, in which the said documents are verified by the officials. Every candidates who are going for the document verification process, must present their original certificate and self-attested copies of documents. If there will be any faulty document, that can lead to rejection.
The name of the documents are listed below:
- Date of Birth Proof.
- Valid Photo Identity Proof.
- Marksheets and Certificates of all Educational Qualifications.
- Caste Certificate, if applicable
- Disability Certificate, if applicable
- Other Certificates/Documents mentioned in the notification.
JPSC 2024 Final Merit List
The JPSC final merit list is prepared based on the marks of the mains and interview. The marks of prelims is not considered for the merit list as the prelims is qualifying. The exam conducting commission releases the final merit list of the Jharkhand PSC exam. The merit list is released in PDF form, from which candidate can find their name by searching their registration number/roll number.
