Physical Standards Required for Jharkhand PSC

JPSC Eligibility 2024 – Other Parameters

Apart from the above-mentioned criteria, there are some more requirement which are needed for the JPSC Exam. These includes: Nationality, Marital Status, Number of Attempts for exam and category reservation. Candidates must adhere to these criteria along with the above listed parameters.

Marital Status	Female candidates who are married to a person already having another wife & Male married candidates who have more than one wife living, will not be eligible for the recruitment unless granted an exemption by the Governor.
Nationality	The Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Reservation	The reservation Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Class, of Jharkhand, shall be admissible in accordance with the provision of relevant Govt. Rules
Number of Attempts	There is no limitation on attempts. It depends on the upper age limit.

Some More Important Points to be Noted Regarding Eligibility:

1. A candidate who has rendered at least three years of regular service under the state government of Jharkhand, shall be granted 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
2. The JPSC exam only provides reservation to candidates who are natives of the state.
