NPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024: The Nagaland Public Service Commission will soon release the notification for the Nagaland civil Service Exam 2024. The notification PDF contains the eligibility criteria for Nagaland PSC exam. NPSC Requirement: Age Limit

To fulfill the eligibility criteria of Nagaland PSC, applicants must check their age limit first, according to the post they are applying for. The age limit is different for different posts. The minimum age limit for some posts is 21 years and maximum age limit is 28 and 30 years but the upper age limit varies based on the age relaxation.

Age Relaxation Allowed

The candidates who are domicile or permanent residents of the State of Nagaland can get an age relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit.

Nagaland Civil Service: Nationality

NPSC Eligibility Criteria: Important Points

There are few important point that are important to keep in mind while the whole recruitment process. The points are explained below:

  • Carefully review the official notification to ensure meeting specified criteria is essential.
  • The recruiting body has the authority to disqualify ineligible candidates during the selection process.
  • Attaining the Nagaland PSC Cut Off marks is crucial for shortlisting candidates for the post.
  • Selection is based on eligibility and performance in the examination.
  • Candidates must present their certificates for age verification during the selection process. The Nagaland Public Service Commission acknowledges only the recorded date of birth in the Matriculation or Secondary School certificate or an equivalent examination certificate.
  • Male candidates with more than one wife or those who have remarried without obtaining a divorce from the first wife may not be eligible unless the matter is resolved in a court.
  • No female candidate whose marriage is void by the reason of a man already having a wife still alive at the time of the marriage shall be given the candidature.
  • Success in the examination does not confer any rights to appointment until the government is fully satisfied, and an inquiry may be held.
  • The appointment is subject to the verification of original documents.
  • Candidates claiming age relaxation must attach appropriate certificates issued by the competent authority; without such certificates, no relaxation will be considered.
  • Online applications received after the due date will not be considered by the NPSC.
  • The center reserves the right to allocate an examination center considering the candidate’s preferences entered in the application form.

Cancellation of Application 

The application of an applicant might be cancelled anytime, if the Commission finds the candidate to be guilty of: 

  1. Receiving assistance in any form during written examinations or interviews is strictly.
  2. Engaging in impersonation or arranging for someone else to impersonate is a serious offense.
  3. Submitting false or tampered documents is strictly prohibited.
  4. Providing incorrect or false statements, as well as suppressing material facts at any stage of the selection process, is strictly prohibited.
  5. Engaging in any other improper means to secure recruitment is not allowed.
  6. Violating any instructions provided to the candidate, including those in the admission certificate or given orally by the Center supervisor or other staff, is strictly prohibited.
