Rajasthan Police Constable Eligibility Criteria And Selection Procedure

1. Education Qualifications

The Rajasthan Police Recruitment Board has minimum education qualifications for candidates willing to apply for this post. Candidates must have cleared the 8th, 10^th or 12^th Board examination from the recognized board and Institute of Rajasthan State for appearing this exam. 

2. Age limit

The Rajasthan Police Recruitment Board has also set a minimum age limit for candidates willing to apply for this post. The age limit is 18 years to 23 years. There has been relaxation for candidates as per the government rule and regulation. Any person other than them cannot appear for the exam.

3. Selection Procedure

Multiple level screening is done for selecting a suitable candidate for the post of Police Constable. The candidate is selected only after he has passed all the levels. They are computer based tests, physical standards tests, physical endurance tests, document verification and the final merit list. Thus, candidates have to be fit for all the stages for clearing the Police Constable Exam.

Passing Criteria Of The Written Test

1. The minimum marks reserved for Unreserved and BC (both OBC and MBC) candidates are 40% and that for SC/ST is 36% in aggregate.
2. There has been a relaxation to ex-servicemen of 5% and in case of non-availability, a further relaxation of 5% will be allowed as per DOP notification.
3. Candidates of TSP areas and Saharia candidates of Baran have no minimum passing marks.
