RBI Assistant Exam Analysis 2020 – Mains Paper Pattern

There will be 5 sections namely, English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, Computer Knowledge & General Awareness. Here is a brief highlight of what is the paper pattern that will be followed.

English Language: This section will comprise of 40 marks and a total of 30 minutes will be allocated to complete the section. 1 mark will be allocated to each question.

Reasoning Ability: Total marks allocated to this section is 40 with a time limit of 30 minutes. 40 questions will be asked in this section with 1 mark allocated to each question.

Numerical Ability: Again this section will have a total of 40 questions with 1 mark allocated to each question thus making a total of 40 marks. 20 minutes will be allocated to this section.

Computer Knowledge: This section will have a total of 40 questions to be completed in 20 minutes. 1 mark will be allocated to each section making a total of 40 marks.

General Awareness: This section will have a total of 40 questions to be completed in 25 minutes.

A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam and a time limit of 135 minutes will be given to candidates in which they have to finish their exam and score the maximum possible to clear the cutoff.

The overall difficulty level of the exam stood at easy to moderate level. No big surprises were thrown by the RBI. the regular paper pattern was followed. Candidates found the reasoning section fairly easy.

The overall section was distributed between syllogism, inequality, direction sense and puzzle-based questions. Candidates attempted almost 32-35 questions in this section which gives the idea of the difficulty level of the paper.
