Last time, the RBI Grade A Notification was released in the year 2022 for a total of 9 vacancies. RBI Grade A Exam 2025

This is because Grade A exam is for Assistant Manager post and Grade B exam is for Manager post so you are already preparing for the exam with higher difficulty. RBI Grade A Eligibility

To be eligible, you need to fulfill various criteria such as age limit, educational qualification and more. Check out the detailed RBI Grade A Eligibility in the sections below.

RBI Grade A Age Limit (Rajbhasha)

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on the reference date. The upper age limit is relaxable for several categories. Check out the RBI Grade A Age Limit after relaxation below:

RBI Grade A Age Limit (Security & Protocol)

A candidate must have attained the age of 25 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years. Also note that there is no relaxation in age limit for any category.

RBI Grade A Educational Qualification

Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha)	(i) Second Class Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level; OR (ii) Second Class Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level along with Post Graduation diploma in translation; OR (iii) Second Class Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level along with Post graduate diploma in translation. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor’s Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree); OR (iv) Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class
Assistant Manager (Security & Protocol)	The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force

RBI Grade A Salary

The pay scale for RBI Grade A officers is expected to be Rs. 44500- 2500(4)- 54500- 2850(7)- 74450- EB- 2850(4)- 85850- 3300(1)- 89150 (17 years). The basic pay of the officers is expected to be Rs 44500. The initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately ₹90,100/- (approx.), which do not include the amount of HRA.
