The Karnataka Public Service Commission has invited applications for the recruitment of Asst. Engineers under the Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department. There are 188 vacancies available. The registration began on 28th February 2022. The last date to apply for the recruitment (earlier 30th March 2022) has been extended to 18th April 2022. RDWSD Asst./Junior Engineer Eligibility Requirements

Nationality

Age Limit

Candidates should fulfil the below criteria for age to apply for the recruitment:

• The minimum age of the candidate should be: 18 years
• The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years

Age Relaxation

The upper age limit relaxation is provided to the candidates of the reserved categories. The relaxation is provided as per the Government rules. The category-wise list is given below:

• For Category-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 38 Years.
• For Category-I: 40 Years.
• SC (Scheduled Caste): 40 years

Educational Qualification

For Asst. Engineer: The candidates applying for the RDWSD vacancy must hold a BE degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering discipline from a Karnataka Govt. recognized Institution/ University.

For Junior Engineer: The candidates must hold a Diploma in Civil, or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.
