Sikkim PCS Selection Process: The Sikkim Public Service Commission release the recruitment process for various posts through the Sikkim Civil Service. The recruitment phases are published in the SPSC Notification. The posts for which SPSC Sikkim is conducted are: Under Secretary, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Accounts Officer and more. The selection process comprises three stages, Preliminary Test, Mains Test and Interview or Personality Test. The prelims test act as screening test for the mains exam. Sikkim PSC Selection Process

As per the conducting commission, Sikkim PSC 2024 will be conducted soon in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in the mains exam and interview.

1. The Sikkim PSC Preliminary exam is a qualifying test.
2. This stage is conducted to screen candidates for the Main examination.
3. It consists of two papers, Paper I, and Paper II.
4. Paper I covers General Studies, while Paper II covers Aptitude and Reasoning.
5. Each paper is conducted for 2 hours and 200 marks.
6. Negative marking of 0.33 is done for every wrong answers.

Sikkim PSC Selection Process – Mains

1. The main exam is the second stage of the Sikkim PSC recruitment process.
2. The main exam is both Objective/MCQ type and Conventional/Essay type in nature.
3. This examination consists four papers.
4. Paper A is language paper and qualifying in nature. 40% marks are needed to qualify this paper.
5. Paper I involves question from General Studies. Remaining two papers are optional papers.
6. Each paper is conducted for 300 marks and 3 hours.
7. Marks scored in paper I, II, and III are considered for merit.

Candidates who clear the main exam, are shortlisted for the personality test/interview round. The interview stage serve as the concluding phase of the exam. The personality test/interview round carries a total of 100 marks.
