- Refer to the official notification for the syllabus and the examination pattern.
- Prepare for the exam by downloading previous year’s question papers.
- Besides NCERT books, Laxmikanth Polity, and Spectrum’s history, refer to these best books.
- Current affairs and daily matters can be found in newspapers and magazines.
- Practice taking mock tests and writing answers well in advance of the exam.
- During your preparation for the state level exam, demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and a strong will since the competition is stiff due to the large number of candidates who apply.
- Test your performance on a regular basis with mock tests.

There are a number of exams one can appear for after completing B.Tech. basically, most of the exams conducted by state governments require a degree as a minimum educational qualification. You can check any particular exam you want to apply to after the completion of your degree program.
The difficulty of the exam depends on various factors. it cannot be said that a state-level exam is easier to pass in comparison to a national-level exam.
