Hi friends, I am Dheeraj Malik from Meerut (U.P.). I completed my graduation in 2016 in ECE. Immediately after completing my graduation, I joined an IT company and after working for six months I quit the job and started looking for a better opportunity for my career.

Well, I was so confused in the beginning and I chose to prepare for CAT but was not successful, then in 2018 I started to prepare for banking but initially, I was not able to clear any prelims in 2018. In 2019, I chose online preparation and that helped me a lot.

I was getting results in prelims but still was not able to clear mains examinations. Then, I finally switched to Oliveboard and my progress card has changed after that.

I appeared in 4 mains exams, SBI Clerk, IBPS PO, LIC assistant, and IBPS clerk. I failed in three mains but was very close in clearing the cut-off, so that gave me a boost and a positive attitude that I can have my job for sure. And finally, I got selected in IBPS Clerk. I will be joining PNB bank as a clerk in Uttar Pradesh.

2. Subject-wise Preparation Strategy

2.1 English Section Preparation Strategy

I used to read the editorials daily and that positively helped me, and I used to give Oliveboard sectional mock tests and attend youtube sessions to make myself tuned in English.

2.2 Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

The reasoning I love to do most, the more you practice questions in reasoning, the easier it will be for you to score better. Practice new type puzzles and stick to the concepts, you will surely get a good hand in reasoning.

2.3 Quant Section Preparation Strategy

It is the weakest point of mine out of all the sections, but I decided not to skip it as the selection was not possible without clearing it. Oliveboard edge platform and a few others I looked out for and they turned good for me in getting the result.
