Inspiring Success Story of Manmohit Singh

My name is Manmohit Singh, I completed my graduation (b.com) in September 2020 but I have been preparing since July 2020.

This was my first attempt.

As I said, I was preparing since July 2020 but actually in 2019 I decided to start banking preparation. At the start, I joined an offline institute but by the time I realized that online preparation is the best option for early success I gave all Preliminary exams and cracked in the first attempt. Then I cleared IBPS PO mains, RRB PO mains, RRB clerk mains, and got the final selection in RRB PO and RRB Clerk.

Manmohit Singh Section-Wise Preparation Strategy

Quantitative Aptitude:- For this subject firstly, I learned tables up to 20, squares up to 50, cubes up to 30. Then I cleared the basics of Percentage and Ratio. After that, my main focus was on Data interpretations. With the help of topic-wise Data Interpretation, I cleared the basics of arithmetic topics. After basics, I made a timetable to focus on Preliminary as well as Mains.

Reasoning Aptitude:- For reasoning, I dedicated more time to reasoning because reasoning is my strong subject. Firstly, I cleared the basics of all topics and types of puzzles and sitting arrangements. After the basics, I started daily practicing. I do 10-12 pre-level puzzles and also Miscellaneous topics. I dedicated less time to preliminary exam preparation and more time to mains preparation because pre-exam is not so tough, it is just a matter of speed and accuracy. I followed mock tests for the mains level puzzles and new pattern questions. I did mains preparation on a daily basis i.e. daily 1-2 mains level puzzles and 10-12 new pattern questions.

English Language:- For English, I started reading Editorials of Indian Express newspaper on a daily basis. With the flow of time, reading skills improved. I also do grammar courses for basics, but I realize that reading is more important. I dedicated 2-3 hours to English on a daily basis.

General Awareness:- Daily current affairs and proper revision is the mantra. I also did banking awareness. I started preparation for the general awareness from the very first day of banking preparation.
