Success Story of Mukti Samaddar – Cleared IBPS RRB PO 2018

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.” Similarly, Mukti followed her ambition and kept working hard to achieve success in her life. Here is the inspiring success story of Mukti Samaddar:

Hi, I am Mukti Samaddar from the city of joy Kolkata. I have completed my M.A in Journalism & Mass Communication from Calcutta University in Oct’ 2017. Since then I have been preparing for banking examination with full concentration. In 2017 I could not even clear IBPS/SBI PO prelims but I never lost hope and started preparing from scratch and practised a lot from Oliveboard mock tests.

Preparation Strategy:

Quants:

I am not really a person who follows routine so I can’t share any routine but I used to give one speed test every day from Oliveboard. After giving every mock test I used to analyze it properly and then worked on my weak areas accordingly. For quant,s I also brushed up my basics and learnt all the rules, tables, formulas etc properly.

Reasoning:

According to me, this was one of the most scoring section, so I practised this section a lot. One needs to focus more on the puzzle area and try to solve as many puzzles as you can. Again Oliveboard mock tests proved to be very helpful in preparing for this area. You can also check the blog section of Oliveboard for preparation tips and strategy.

English:

Earlier my English was not that strong, so I started watching some Hollywood series and news channels to work on my vocab. Meanwhile, I also read various articles which helped me a lot in improving my English section.

GK/GA:

Read as much as you can and collect data about all the latest happenings. Make small notes whenever required and keep revising them whenever you get time.

Role of Oliveboard:

Oliveboard is the most recommended website with quality practice sets to cope up with present exam scenario. I would definitely like to thank Oliveboard for such outstanding test series, I could never make my selection without Oliveboard.

Tips to Aspirants:

Keep practising and analysing your weak areas in order to improve them. Lastly, I would like to advise all the aspirants to keep yourself motivated throughout the journey as is it not going to be an easy one.

I wish all the very best to all the aspirants.”
