Introduction

Hi everyone, I am Tiyasa Roy from Kolkata. This year I have been selected in three jobs- IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk and RRB OA.

Tiyasa Roy – Preparation Journey

I completed my graduation in 2021 and started giving banking exams from 2022. Last year I cleared some prelims, mains and gave interview but couldn’t make it to the final list of any of these exams by a small margin. I took one more year and promised myself to work harder and the result is infront of you. Sometimes I thought about giving up but my family and friends always motivated and encouraged me.

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

Reasoning: For reasoning I just gave mock tests and analysed them.

English: I used to read editorial and essays from various sites and attempted topicwise quizzes. Again mock test was the main practice source for me in English.

GK/GA: I followed Affairs Cloud’s weekly qna pdf and before mains I followed free YouTube sessions of Aditya sir and Sheetal ma’am. Those sessions were really very helpful and played a big role in my selection.

Interview: First I cleared basic banking knowledge from banking awareness videos and then discussed those topics with my friends. This way I developed my english speaking ability and communication skill.

How Oliveboard helped you?

I solely relied on Oliveboard mock tests for both prelims and mains. It was my all time favourite platform. Oliveboard provided me the most updated content in mock tests. Sometimes questions of the mocks were tougher than the real exam but that helped me to point out my weakness and recover the same.
