Success Story of Vivek Kashyap- Cleared IBPS Clerk 2018

Success Story of Vivek Kashyap, who succeeded after failing for 10 times rightly justifies that failures, repeated failures, are finger posts on the road to achievement.

Here is his success story:

Hello everyone, I am VIVEK KASHYAP and I have completed my B.Sc.(MATH) in 2015 from Patna, Bihar. After graduation, I didn’t know what to do because I was a bit confused between SSC & Banking Exams. So I wasted my 1 year in finalizing my goal.

Also there was a lack of proper guidance for me. Then I started my preparation of both SSC and Bank together. I went through the whole syllabus and chapters carefully and patiently. But the syllabus of Bank and SSC seemed very different, so then I decided to prepare properly for Banking only. I started my preparation of bank seriously from September 2017.Mathematics was my strength, so I didn’t face much difficulty in quants section. But I had to work hard for Reasoning & English section.

Preparation Strategy

Quants: First and the most important thing is to know about the chapters & complete latest pattern and syllabus. This will help you to devise your preparation strategy properly & in right direction. I cleared all my basics by referring R.S.AGRAWAL book and attempted mock tests from Oliveboard. Having said that, it’s extremely important to analyse your attempted test. It will help you to figure your weak areas.

Reasoning: After finishing your chapter work, practice more for puzzles and sitting arrangement because these topics will make your final selection. Reasoning is all about practicing and following the right strategy to attempt a question. So avoid lengthy and confusing methods while solving reasoning questions in exam.

English: Read editorials of The Hindu daily and try to find out the conclusion in a short period of time. Also try to keep one hour daily for reading vocab.

Role of Oliveboard:

I have attempted a lot of questions and mock tests on Olive board. It has increased my confidence and my accuracy. Thanks to Oliveboard team.

Tips to Aspirants:

Patience and routine work is necessary to achieve your goal. So never lose hope and keep moving ahead without getting affected & demotivated by your failures.
