Inspiring Success Story of Prasad Krishnan K

I’m a Computer Science Engineer from NIT Calicut. I worked for 2 years as an Applications Engineer in Oracle India Pvt Ltd. Reading non-fiction novels/literature and following tennis are my hobbies. 

I started RBI preparations only after I gave my UPSC CSE 2020 Mains in January. I focussed mostly on Phase 1 initially. And later, after I qualified for Phase 2, focussed on topics in the syllabus which did not overlap with UPSC.  

Prasad Krishnan’s Subject-wise Strategy

Paper 1

ESI topics had considerable overlap with UPSC. So I just revised the Economics portion based on previous year questions of RBI Grade B. 

Paper 2 

For English, I didn’t prepare specifically, most probably due to my educational background and work experience which requires me to interact in English most of the time.

Paper 3 

For Finance and Management, I took the help of videos from YouTube. Although, I mostly relied on standard sources like government websites and news articles. 

Overall, I stuck to the syllabus diligently as I had very little time to prepare, and it paid off I guess.
