Educational Qualification

As per the eligibility for the UPPSC J exam, 

• The candidate must have a Bachelor of Laws degree from an Uttar Pradesh university established by law or from any other Indian university recognized by the Governor for this purpose.

• Must be an Advocate enrolled under the Advocate Act 1961, a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland, with the right to practice in the Court or Courts subject to the Advocate Act 1961.

It is also necessary for the applicant to have a strong command of Hindi in Devnagri Script.
