The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the prestigious Civil Services Examination (CSE) every year to recruit candidates into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other allied civil services. UPSC CSE Application Fee 2024 For General

The application fee for the UPSC prelims and mains exam for general category male candidates is as follows:

• Prelims: Rs 100
• Mains: Rs 200

So general category male aspirants have to pay a total of Rs 300 as the application fee for UPSC 2024. This fee can be paid online through net banking, credit/debit cards, post office challan or SBI challan. The fee remains the same for candidates from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.

UPSC CSE Application Fee 2024 For OBC

Male candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category need to pay the same UPSC exam fee as general category candidates. The application fee structure is:

• Prelims: Rs 100
• Mains: Rs 200

So the total amount payable as UPSC 2024 application fee for OBC male candidates is Rs 300. This fee can be paid digitally or through offline modes.

UPSC CSE Application Fee 2024 For SC/ST

Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories are exempted from paying the UPSC exam fees. The fee structure for them is:

• Prelims: NIL
• Mains: NIL

Therefore, SC/ST aspirants do not have to pay any amount as the application fee for UPSC 2024. They can apply free of cost.

UPSC CSE Application Fee 2024 For Females

Female candidates belonging to all categories – General, OBC, SC, ST – do not have to pay any fee for the UPSC CSE application. So the fee structure for women candidates is:

• Prelims: NIL
• Mains: NIL

Female UPSC aspirants are completely exempted from the application fee. They can fill and submit the form free of cost.
