In line with the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative, Shri Manoj Kumar, Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), launched a five-day ‘Diwali Utsav’ Gramshilpa at the Khadi Lounge in Connaught Place, New Delhi. This event aims to connect the residents of Delhi with the Prime Minister’s vision by offering a curated selection of local products, ensuring that products crafted locally are accessible to the general populace. The ‘Diwali Utsav’ Gramshilpa at the Khadi Lounge was inaugurated with the objective of celebrating locally produced goods. Shoppers can avail themselves of discounts of up to 20% on Khadi products and 10% on Village Industries products, making it even more enticing to embrace locally crafted treasures.

Shri Manoj Kumar earnestly implored everyone to opt for indigenous Khadi products during festivals, ensuring that the journey of empowerment continues.
