The National Health Authority (NHA) has achieved a remarkable milestone, generating over 1 crore tokens for OPD registrations through the ABHA-based Scan and Share service. Introduced as part of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) in October 2022, this paperless system allows patients to streamline their registration process by scanning a QR code at the OPD counter to instantly share their ABHA profile.

The Scan and Share service, rapidly adopted across India, is transforming patient registration at public health facilities.
