The Notification for Allahabad Bank Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) vied ADV. NO. 01/R.O. & A.R.O./ 2021 Date: 17th August 2021 and ADV. NO. 02/C.A/ 2021 Date: 17th August 2021.   The number of posts advertised for Review Officer is 46 and for Assistant Review Officer is 350. In all, the number of vacancies released adds up to 396. There is a possibility that the number of vacancies announced for each category could be reduced or increased.  Vertical reservation in case of S.T., S.C., and O.B.C. from U.P. and Horizontal reservation according to applicable rules shall be conducted. The cut-off marks for the Allahabad High Court RO ARO Examination change from one year to the next. This is because several factors affect the cut-off mark for the Allahabad High Court RO ARO Examination, and these do not remain the same from one year to the other. Let’s have a look at the factors that will affect the Allahabad High Court RO ARO Cut Off in 2021. 

The following factors affect the cut off marks for the Written Examination for Allahabad High Court RO ARO. 

  • The number of candidates taking the Examination: The higher the number of candidates sitting for the Examination, the higher will be the cut-off and the fewer the number of candidates sitting for the Examination, the lower will be the cut-off.
  • The total number of vacancies that have been declared: The more vacancies, the lower the cut-off, and the fewer the vacancies, the higher will be the cut off.
  • Highest Marks Obtained in the Examination: The higher the highest marks scored, the higher will be the cut off. So, if the highest marks scored in 2021 is less than scored in 2017, then the cut off will be lower for 2021 as compared with 2017

There are two stages in the Examination for Allahabad High Court RO and the post of Allahabad High Court ARO.  For all of these stages, a separate cut off mark will be released.  Also, there will be separate cut off marks for the various categories of candidates.

After the RO and ARO tests are conducted, the cut-off mark will be declared for the various stages and categories.  Candidates cannot know the cut-off mark for the exam for which they will sit mainly because the cut-off will be declared after the test.  So, it is a good idea to look at the previous years’ cut-off mark to get an idea of what this year’s expected cut-off could be.
