APPSC Group 1 Answer Key
The commission releases the Answer key for all the papers of the Group 1 recruitment examination. The Answer key is released before the announcements of the APPSC Group 1 examination results. The answer keys are available on the official website of the commission. They are made available in order to enable the candidates to compare their answers with those in the Answer keys to get an estimate of their overall performance and expected marks. In case a candidate has an objection regarding an answer/ answers in the official answer key, they can raise an objection. Calculating Estimated Marks From APPSC Group 1 Answer Key
The APPSC Group 1 preliminary examination had a multiple-choice question paper. All questions carry 1 mark each. Negative marking is applicable for every wrong answer. For each incorrect answer or multiple answers to one question, 1/3 of the marks will be deducted. No negative marking is done for unanswered questions. Once the answer key is released, the candidates can use it to calculate the marks and predict their tentative score. The candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to calculate their estimated marks.
Step 1: Check your answers with the answer key provided by the commission.
Step 2: Multiply the sum of correct answers with 1
Step 3: Multiply the sum of wrong answers with 0.33
Step 4: Deduct the sum of step 2 from step 1. The remaining is your estimated score.
